Caution -this is a very photo dense post but, in my opinion, an event totally worth recording every single detail.
Keegan, my one and only dear daughter who lives more than 1600 miles away, spearheaded a surprise 50th birthday party for me. She worked with my niece, Sarah, and the boys to put on this amazing event.
She flew in, did grocery shopping, set up the party and got the family together...

...while the boys took me to see The Dark Tower (my favorite Stephen King book).
It was a truly successful surprise!
I had no clue my daughter was in town.
And I thought my dad had returned to Nevada.
And my brother even came to the party. It was his first time to come to Missouri for a visit!
Sarah made this beautiful and yummy cake...
...and Keegan brought tea cakes from L.A.!!!
It was such an amazing day. A surprise that will never be forgotten.
And what an amazing way to begin my 50's!
Yes, a grand adventure, indeed!!!
