| We reviewed the Empires of Mali, Ghana, and Songhai and began making an African continent box. |

| Of course we had to play a little mancala! |

| The cafe becomes a classroom - a little lunch and the history of weaponry. |
 |
| Puzzle of the globe - the lights of world glow in the dark. It was interesting to get to compare the different continents. North America was very lit up and Africa was quite dark. |

| Bishop's creation in the kitchen - it was soooo yummy! |

| Field trip to the Asian market - inspired by ramen creation and upcoming lunar new year. |

| We have some fun ahead of us, too. |
