A Cool Art Adventure

Maceo, Bishop and I had the opportunity to go to a really cool art show:
Kent Melton from Aladdin to ParaNorman
Disney discovered fairly early on that it was easier for animators to draw while looking at three dimensional representations of their subject rather than flat one dimensional representations.
He hired sculptors to make those three dimensional representations.
Kent Melton is a present day sculptor for Disney and, as the title of the exhibit reveals, he has done the sculptures from Aladdin through ParaNorman.
It was so cool to see some of our most beloved characters in this form.

It was a fascinating exhibit.

 We thoroughly enjoyed it!
