A Most Inspiring Field Trip: Part Two

Our field trip to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art included viewing the Stuart Davis:  In Full Swing exhibit.  We LOVED this.  I'll just let you look and read and maybe you will love it as well.

They reproduced a 1950's lounge in the exhibition hall and had jazz piped throughout.  It was great!!!

We saw the holy grail of crystals...

...and went to their library, which was absolutely amazing.
We sat and read for awhile, including this illuminating book on light based art installations.

We will be back in the not-too-distant future.  We want to see the Soul of a Nation and the Georgia O'Keefe exhibitions that will be here next year.  So cool!

We ate at Fred's Hickory Inn for dinner.  We were "starving" as I think these photos might accurately portray.

The food was very delicious and dinner ended with house made cheesecake made completely from scratch.  It was so very delicious.
This field trip was epic and I look forward to more adventures such as this with my boys in the future!!!
