Our family recognized Hanukkah this evening. This year Hanukkah began on December 2 and ended on the 9th. We typically recognize this Holy event one evening during its designated week. We failed to do so this year but we still wanted to take the time to remember how God can make the impossible possible. We kindled the flames of the menorah and dined on fried chicken, latkes and applesauce.
Then we moved on to a happening game of dreidel.
My dreidel's always playful,
It loves to dance and spin,
A happy game of dreidel,
Come play now, let's begin.
