Lifestyle of Learning 2017 Edition: Volume Thirty-Eight

October 15-21

This week in the life of my kiddos.....

Maceo performed Rocky Horror Show and its rave review was printed in the paper.
Bishop played flag football with Christian and his friends.  He then went out to eat with this bunch of guys.  There is a twelve year age difference between Christian and Bishop and I so love that they have such a strong relationship despite that age difference.
Bishop went to his culinary internship.
Bishop attended scouts.
Maceo attended pre-professional training acting classes.
Maceo attended troupe and teen players.
They both watched the Constitutional Literacy and Personal Finance videos but we didn't get them discussed.
Maceo practiced guitar.
Maceo did yoga.
Bishop made a chicken curry and a potato curry.
Bishop went to the pottery studio.

And, finally, Bishop got to take the furnace glass blowing class.

I didn't get to take any pictures of him actually working at the furnace, shucks!  He did express that he had a great time and was impressed with just how many items they got to make.  He made a paper weight, an ornament, a glass, a bowl and a vase.  I can't wait to see them on Tuesday!!!

Meanwhile, Maceo had a troupe performance at a neighboring community's arts in the park event.
This young lady pictured below would be his beautiful girlfriend.
Just having a little fun watching his fellow performers!

Dancing to Zoot Suit Boogie and more!

We didn't eat at this food truck but I sure do love their style!

We did eat at Cracker Barrel where Maceo and his girl sought to defeat the peg game.
After many attempts leaving three pegs behind they finally succeeded.

Have you ever seen so much joy over having defeated this game before?
I love it!
And I love all these moments that we get to share together!
