Happy Veterans Day!

Our family wishes all service members a very happy Veteran's Day!
We are so thankful for your service and your sacrifice,
and the sacrifice of your families.
These words are not spoken lightly; they are stated with a deep sense of appreciation and understanding. I love our country and the ideas on which it was founded. Daily I feel blessed to have been born in this place and this time. And daily I feel blessed that there are so many people who willingly commit their lives to the defense of this country and those ideas upon which it was founded. As a wife of a twice-deployed Army man, I understand the commitment and the sacrifice that is required of each and every soldier and I never take that for granted.
Thank you!

As for our family, it was so nice to have the Army man home with us on this Veteran's Day. This morning, Bishop put the flag on display while Dad stood at attention. It was such a tender moment, I wish I had a picture but, alas, I must be satisfied with the snapshot that remains in memory.
Another day, another memory of our grand adventure!
